Are you looking for a 1:1 Tutor Role? We offer a comprehensive provision that includes virtual tuition, face-to-face 1:1 support (including community-based settings), sensory-led learning approaches, life skills development, and additional academic support where required. All programmes are carefully designed around the individual needs and EHCP outcomes of each child.

The role involves delivering tailored 1:1 or small group sessions for children with SEMH, ASC, and a range of additional needs. Tuition may be delivered within school settings, community venues such as libraries, or in the pupil’s home, depending on the referral.

More About The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated tuition aligned to the primary curriculum (KS1/KS2)
  • Plan creative, bespoke learning sessions to meet EHCP targets and individual needs
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families
  • Support children with SEMH, ASC, and additional needs
  • Work independently across a variety of settings

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced tutor, HLTA, LSA, or qualified teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum (KS1/KS2)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND, particularly SEMH and ASC
  • Confident managing behaviour and promoting emotional regulation
  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant SEND experience
  • Good general education in English and Maths
  • Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible in working patterns
