TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Gloucester supporting pupils aged 7-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The school provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment with very small class sizes, high staffing ratios and a supportive, values-driven staff culture focused on helping pupils rebuild their confidence and engagement with education.
The school is looking to take on an Experienced Secondary Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2026. The successful Experienced Secondary Teacher will lead a small mixed-ability KS3 / KS4 class of around 7-8 pupils, teaching across the curriculum with support from experienced teaching assistants while contributing to pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
The successful Experienced Secondary Teacher will have:
- QTS and completion of the 2-year ECT induction
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification teaching experience
