Experienced Behavioural 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time, Term-Time Only (School Hours 8.30am-3.30pm)
A popular, welcoming and supportive primary school are looking for a dedicated Experienced Behavioural 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team on an ongoing basis from February 2026. If you’re passionate about helping children thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
- Support students 1:1 and in small groups who need additional support outside the classroom & within class settings depending on their needs that day
- Work with individuals and small groups to boost confidence and progress
- Assist the class teacher with resources, activities, and daily tasks
- Help with playground supervision and other daily school duties
- Maintain a positive, organised and safe learning environment
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, staff, and families
About You
- Enthusiastic, patient, and child-centred
- A great communicator with a warm approach
- A team player who can take initiative
- Experienced in supporting children in an educational setting and confident in dealing with behavioural challenges
