Are you an experienced Primary SEN Lead Teacher with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Do you have strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and experience working with pupils with ASC? Are you looking for a rewarding leadership opportunity within a specialist SEND setting?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in North Somerset that supports children and young people with a range of complex learning needs. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential through a personalised curriculum and a highly supportive staff team.
The school is looking to appoint an Experienced Primary SEN Lead Teacher on a full-time permanent basis from September. The successful candidate will lead teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils with SEND needs including ASC, whilst promoting high standards of achievement, inclusion and wellbeing throughout the school.
The successful candidate will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Significant experience teaching within a Primary or SEND setting
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Experience supporting pupils with ASC and additional learning needs
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A resilient, adaptable and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
