Salary: £90 - £120 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Do you have experience supporting children with SEND and enjoy helping young people achieve their full potential? Are you calm, patient and confident working with pupils who require additional support?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of fantastic SEND schools and specialist provisions across Exeter. We are looking for experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team on short-term, long-term and day-to-day placements.

Whether you have experience supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD, MLD, or challenging behaviour, we would love to hear from you.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working within a SEND school or supporting children with additional needs
  • Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
  • A patient, caring and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
