TeacherActive are currently seeking Welsh Speaking Exam Invigilators for Secondary Schools across Pontypridd for the upcoming exam period starting in January 2026. This is a great opportunity that will suit someone who is looking for flexible working hours whilst getting experience working in an educational setting to build their CV. We are looking to recruit a bank of dedicated Welsh speaking exam invigilators to oversee and supervise exams, making sure guidelines and regulations are followed throughout the duration of sessions.
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare the exam hall with papers and any required materials, advising students of the exam conditions, observing the room whilst the exam is taking place and assisting children to the bathroom to ensure they don’t break regulations. After the exam the post-holders are responsible for collecting the exam materials and leaving the halls presentable and tidy for the next session.
The successful Welsh Speaking Exam Invigilator will have:
Excellent communication skills
Be able to converse fluently in the Welsh Language
Ability to adhere to rules and regulations
Ability to be vigilant to situations
Good team work skills
