Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you have the resilience and adaptability to engage learners who require additional support? Are you looking for a rewarding short-term SEMH Tutor role within a specialist SEND setting?

We are looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Tutor on a short-term basis starting in September. The successful SEMH Tutor will deliver engaging, tailored learning sessions while supporting students' academic, social and emotional development, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Experience delivering lessons or interventions in an educational or alternative provision setting
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
  • A patient, resilient and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
