Responsibilities
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions.
- Support pupils with SEND through EHCPs and IEPs.
- Mentor other Learning Support Assistants.
- Contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of pupils across the school.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Learning Support, Early Years, NNEB or equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting children within a school or early years setting.
- Knowledge of child development and the National Curriculum.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to coach, mentor and support other adults within the classroom.
