Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND, including those with complex needs, to achieve their full potential? Role Overview

The school is seeking to appoint a full‑time, permanent SEND and Inclusion Leader to join the Senior Leadership Team from September 2026 or January 2027. The successful SEND and Inclusion Leader will lead SEND provision across the school, oversee EHCP processes, work directly with pupils with additional needs, support staff development and drive inclusive practice to improve outcomes for all learners.

Qualifications

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • National Award for SENCO Accreditation / NPQ for SENCOs, or willingness to undertake the qualification
  • Significant experience working with children with SEND, including complex needs
  • Experience leading SEND provision and developing whole‑school inclusive practice
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
