TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in Terling to recruit a Nursery Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career. The nursery is looking for a qualified Early Years professional with a strong background in childcare.
Previous management experience is not essential, as they are keen to support someone with the right experience, leadership qualities and willingness to develop into the role. The setting places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and is looking for someone who shares this passion or is enthusiastic about incorporating outdoor education into children’s daily experiences.
Due to the rural location of the nursery, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as the setting is not easily accessible by public transport. On-site parking is available.
The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
- Strong experience working within an Early Years setting
- The confidence and ambition to lead and support a team
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality childcare and education
- An interest in, or experience of, outdoor learning
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
