TeacherActive is working in partnership with a well-established FE college in Chelmsford to recruit an experienced Media Studies Lecturer for a long-term position. This role is ideal for a committed educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching within further education.

The Successful Media Studies Lecturer Will:

  • Deliver Media Studies across Level 2 and Level 3 courses
  • Plan engaging lessons that meet awarding body specifications
  • Support learners with coursework, assessment, and progression
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Media Studies within FE or post-16 education
  • Strong subject knowledge and organisational skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
  • Industry experience (desirable but not essential)
