Learning Support Assistant required to support students aged 11-16 at a Secondary School in Essex on temporary cover. Employment is for both day-to-day and long-term cover opportunities.
Location: Essex | Start Date: Immediate | Salary: £95-£110 per day
The school promotes high standards of behaviour, encourages student achievement and provides excellent support for both staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside teaching staff to maintain engagement, support learning outcomes and demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Provide support to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or within a Secondary School setting.
- Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- The ability to support students with varying learning needs and abilities.
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach.
