Salary: £190 - £220 per day depending on experience

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated mainstream secondary school in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a Dance Teacher. The school provides a positive and high-achieving environment where pupils are encouraged to engage fully in both academic and practical subjects.
The school is looking to take on a Dance Teacher for four days per week on a long-term basis, covering staff sickness. The successful Dance Teacher will primarily teach GCSE Dance at Key Stage 4 / KS4, alongside timetabled PE lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.
The successful Dance Teacher will have:
- QTS with a relevant Dance or PE specialism, with ECTs also welcome to apply
- Experience teaching Dance within a secondary school environment
- Experience delivering GCSE Dance at Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Confidence teaching PE across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
