Teacher Active is proud to be working with a successful Secondary School in South Essex that is seeking to appoint a Geography Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026. The school is committed to delivering high-quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and staff are valued as part of a collaborative team.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher on a full-time permanent basis. The successful Geography Teacher will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, deliver engaging and challenging lessons, monitor student progress and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Applications are welcomed from experienced Geography Teachers as well as ECTs looking to begin their teaching career.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

  • QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
