  • Support the delivery of a strong school-readiness programme
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
  • Ensure the setting remains compliant with EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with staff development, mentoring and performance management
  • Contribute to observations, assessments and children's individual learning journeys
  • Support the management team with policies, procedures and continuous improvement
  • Take responsibility for the setting in the absence of the Nursery Manager when required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a minimum Level 3 childcare / Early Years qualification
  • Has previous nursery management or senior leadership experience
  • Has strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Has a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Is confident leading, motivating and developing a team

  • Is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children
  • Can demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Has a creative and forward-thinking approach to early years practice
  • Is committed to creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is looking to join a nurturing setting where they can make a genuine impact on children, families and the wider team.
