Are you a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher who can inspire and motivate young learners? Do you have strong classroom management and high expectations of behaviour and conduct? Are you committed to raising attainment and making a measurable impact within a Primary School setting?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School based in Chelmsford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher on a permanent long-term basis. The school promotes a supportive and inclusive environment where teamwork, high standards and pupil achievement are at the heart of everything they do.

The school is looking to take on a driven Key Stage 1 Teacher to support pupils across KS1 from September 2026. The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will act as a positive role model within the classroom, delivering engaging lessons that motivate pupils to achieve their full potential while maintaining high standards across all areas of school life.

The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1 in a UK Primary School
  • Evidence of measurable impact within a current or previous teaching role
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • The ability to think creatively to engage and motivate children
  • A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
