TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Brentwood, a welcoming and supportive school with a strong community ethos. The school is committed to providing a positive environment for both pupils and staff, placing high value on teamwork, wellbeing and delivering the highest standards across all aspects of school life.
The school is looking to appoint a Catering Manager on a permanent, part-time basis from September 2026. Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:30pm, the successful Catering Manager will oversee the delivery of the school's catering service, preparing meals per day, managing food ordering, stock control, budgets and leading the catering team to maintain excellent standards throughout the kitchen.
The successful Catering Manager will have:
- Level 3 Food Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working within a catering or school kitchen environment
- Experience managing and motivating staff
- Strong organisational, budgeting and stock management skills
- Good IT and administrative skills
- A friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach
