TeacherActive is recruiting passionate and dedicated early years educators to work within high-quality nursery settings in Essex. Candidates will support young children's learning, development, and wellbeing in safe, nurturing, and engaging environments. The Role
- Support the learning, development, and care of children aged 0–5 years
- Deliver high-quality childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are adhered to at all times
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Satisfactory references covering the last two years
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
