Location: Loughton, Essex

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic person looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for an Autism Practitioner to join a supportive specialist education setting in Loughton. You will work closely with autistic children and young people, helping them develop their communication, independence, confidence and everyday life skills.

No Experience Required: You do not need previous experience working in autism, education or care to apply. Full training and support will be provided. We are looking for people with the right attitude, patience and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting autistic pupils throughout the school day
  • Providing individual and small-group support
  • Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills
  • Supporting learning and engagement in the classroom
  • Encouraging pupils to achieve their individual goals
  • Helping create a safe, positive and supportive environment
  • Working alongside teachers, therapists and other specialist staff
