We are seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher who combines strong behaviour management skills with creativity and a nurturing approach. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking team to deliver an innovative curriculum, maintaining high expectations and fostering a lifelong love of learning in all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
  • Plan and assess effectively to meet diverse learners needs, including those with additional learning requirements.
  • Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and innovate the curriculum.
  • Uphold high standards and expectations for all pupils, encouraging engagement and achievement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • PGCE or PCET qualifications will also be considered.
  • Proven excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales and its expectations.
  • Strong understanding of planning and assessment processes.
  • Ability to confidently teach across a range of subjects and disciplines is advantageous.
