Roles & Responsibilities
- As an English Teacher, you’ll play a central role in inspiring students to love reading, writing, and critical thinking. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature
- Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4)
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Encouraging creativity, debate, and self-expression in your lessons
- Managing behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning space
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community
