Are you an experienced English Lecturer confident delivering GCSE resit lessons? Do you have the ability to inspire and engage post‑16 learners? Looking for a full‑time English Lecturer role starting immediately?
The college is looking to take on a full‑time English Lecturer on a long‑term temporary basis. The successful English Lecturer will be delivering GCSE English resit sessions to post‑16 learners, supporting students with varying abilities and ensuring strong progress and engagement within the classroom.
Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Experience delivering GCSE English
- Experience working within an FE or post‑16 setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to support learners of mixed ability
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
