About the Role
The successful School Administrator will ensure the smooth running of the school office and provide vital administrative support. As the primary point of contact for visitors, pupils and parents, whether in person, online or by telephone, you will play a key role in upholding the school’s positive and professional reputation. Experience with SIMS is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient, thorough administrative service
- Respond promptly and courteously to enquiries from parents, pupils and the wider public, both face‑to‑face and by telephone
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to fulfil their requests
- Manage queries and complaints professionally in accordance with school policies
- Prioritise and complete multiple tasks accurately and calmly under pressure
- Organise and support a range of educational and social activities
- Meet deadlines through excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills
Requirements
Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references. All staff are paid through PAYE, ensuring correct deduction of tax and National Insurance contributions, with no administrative fees deducted from your earnings.
