The college is a specialist day school for children and young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism and other associated needs. We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and innovative teacher. The school delivers the National Curriculum and students are supported to access a range of subjects by experienced subject teachers and teaching assistants, with input from a therapy team. The successful candidate will ensure that our students engage in learning and are equipped with all the tools they need to progress.
The role: We are looking for a dynamic, committed, and creative teacher to join our dedicated team. You will deliver engaging and adaptable lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity and achievement in learners with additional needs. Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and our in-house therapy team, you will play a key role in ensuring every student has the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive academically and personally.
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, up to GCSE level
- Support students to access the National Curriculum at their level
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual EHCP outcomes
- Motivate and engage learners through creative and inclusive practice
- Provide meaningful feedback to support progress and build confidence
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities
- Work collaboratively within a supportive, skilled and forward-thinking team
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management and a flexible, responsive teaching style.
- A confident and reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement.
