Are you looking to gain some experience in Primary schools around your area? Are you enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring? TeacherActive are on the hunt for Early Career Teachers who are looking to gain some experience in Primary schools around the Derby and Derbyshire area. If you are just starting your course or you are about to finish, we want to hear from you!

We work with a large amount of Primary schools who are always looking for new and vibrant Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Whether your focus is EYFS, KS1 or KS2, we will have the work for you! If you are wanting some experience as a Teaching Assistant if you have not yet finished your course then we also cater for this. During the school holidays we also work with nurseries who are looking for bank staff to help care for the children.

We cover all different kinds of placements: day to day supply, part time/full time and short term/long term.

The successful Early Careers Teacher will have:

  • Experience working in Primary schools in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Eager to learn
  • Knowledge of the current curriculum
  • Passionate about children’s learning
