We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years setting based in South West area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5
  • Support children’s learning through play-based and child-led activities
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s development in line with EYFS
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
