The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will work with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, supporting a range of additional needs including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning materials, and promoting positive outcomes for all learners.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to teaching
