Do you have strong classroom management and the ability to engage young people in Mathematics? TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting for experienced Maths Teachers to work within a number of mainstream secondary schools across the North East region. These schools are known for their supportive Senior Leadership Teams, strong behaviour policies and commitment to helping students achieve their full academic potential in Mathematics.
The schools are looking to appoint driven Maths Teachers on both long-term and permanent contracts starting in September. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, alongside planning, preparation and marking responsibilities. There may also be tutor group responsibilities within this role, so excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Maths specialism
- Experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience with planning and marking
- The ability to engage and motivate students
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
