Be ready to discuss how you've applied it in your previous roles and how it shapes your teaching approach. This shows that you’re not just familiar with the framework, but that you can effectively implement it in the classroom.

Engaging Lesson Plans

Prepare a couple of examples of engaging lessons you've delivered in the past. Think about how you planned, prepared, and assessed these lessons. Being able to articulate your thought process will demonstrate your capability and creativity as an Early Years Teacher.

Showcase Your Classroom Management Skills

Be ready to share specific strategies you’ve used for effective classroom management. Discuss how you create a nurturing environment that supports early development. This is crucial, as schools are looking for teachers who can maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask questions! Inquire about the school's approach to professional development or how they support new teachers. This shows your genuine interest in the role and helps you gauge if the school is the right fit for you.
