Drama Teacher

TeacherActive are recruiting for one of our partner schools in north Kent in recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their team from January 2025. About the Role As a Drama Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students of all abilities, nurturing their creativity and fostering a love for the performing arts. You will have the opportunity to lead exciting productions, enhance the curriculum, and help students develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through drama. Key Responsibilities: Deliver creative and inspiring drama lessons to students across all key stages. Develop and lead school productions, workshops, and extracurricular activities. Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students to explore their artistic potential. Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts team and other staff members. Contribute to the school’s wider artistic vision, helping to shape the future of drama education. What We Are Looking For A qualified Drama Teacher with a passion for theatre and the arts. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students. Experience in directing or producing school plays or performances is highly desirable. A commitment to nurturing students’ creativity and fostering a positive classroom environment. A team player who is excited to contribute to the wider school community.
