TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Dewsbury, who are looking to appoint a Primary LSA. This welcoming school promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting both staff and pupils, creating a warm and collaborative atmosphere throughout the school.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Primary LSA on a long-term basis. The successful Primary LSA will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1, working closely with the class teacher to provide engaging learning support and help maintain a positive classroom environment. The successful Primary LSA will be expected to build strong relationships with pupils and staff while supporting children both academically and socially.

The successful Primary LSA will have:

  • Experience working within a Primary School setting
  • Experience supporting children across Key Stage 1 / KS1
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
