About the role: TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Honiton, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school provides a nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start available. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the classroom, including children with SEND, helping to promote engagement, positive behaviour and academic progress.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- SEND experience desirable but not essential
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting learning
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
