The predicted salary is between 32000 - 46000 £ per year.

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £160 - £232 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated DT Teacher on a temporary to permanent basis, starting ASAP with a view to continuing into September. The successful DT Teacher will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment, and supporting students of mixed abilities.

Qualifications

  • QTS with a DT specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching DT up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety within a workshop environment
  • A proactive and engaging teaching style
  • The ability to support students of varying abilities
