Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an SEN school in Dartford that supports children and young people across a range of age groups. The setting provides specialist support for pupils with additional needs, including Autism / ASD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs.
The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis from September. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning and development, provide personal care where required and work closely with teaching staff to ensure individual needs are met.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD and SEMH
- Confidence providing personal care
- Experience working with children across different age ranges
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
