The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide flexible support across the school. The successful LSA will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
  • Helping to maintain a purposeful learning environment
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support where required
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting
  • A patient, caring and supportive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Flexibility to support across different classes and year groups
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in school life
  • A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
