The Head Teacher is seeking a driven and passionate English Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
The successful English Teacher will be teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), including GCSE English Language and Literature exam preparation. This is a key role within the department, supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes while delivering lessons in line with the school’s schemes of learning.
The successful English Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an English specialism (ECTs / NQTs welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching English up to KS4 / GCSE level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for supporting pupils in a secondary school setting
