Cover Supervisor Flexible role Are you looking for flexible work? Do you have 6 months experience working with children in an educational setting? Do you have the skills needed to be a cover teacher? I am looking for Cover Supervisors to assist with general cover in mainstream Secondary Schools in Herefordshire. Pay rates between £90-£120 per full day, depending on experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be supervising a classroom of around 30-32 students while they complete pre-prepared work when their current teacher is absent. Your main duties will be to take registers and record any absences, keep students on task and make sure work is completed, students are safe, and the classroom is left tidy. You must have strong behavioural management and classroom management skills. I am looking for experienced, proactive and reliable Cover Supervisors to work with my Secondary Schools on a flexible basis, providing general teaching cover in the absence of the classes teacher. To be successful for this role, you will have: Excellent communication skills Have a basic understanding of the National Curriculum Over 6 months experience working as a Cover Supervisor or working with children in an educational setting The ability to cover a variety of subjects Passion for working in education Self-motivated Confidence to manage a classroom Good behavioural management skills The ability to commit to working school hours (usually around 8:30-3:30) All our supply staff are paid weekly on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash. A dedicated Secondary Consultant will be available to also support and provide market leading advice whilst in the role.
