TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across the Harlow area. With increasing demand from our partner schools, we have flexible opportunities available on a day-to-day and long-term basis.
This role is perfect for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced education professionals, or anyone with strong behaviour management skills looking to work in a school environment. You will be delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain focused and engaged in the absence of their regular teacher.
Our strong partnerships with local schools mean we can find placements that suit your availability, preferences, and career goals. You will also receive ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated team who understand the education sector inside out.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience working with young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The confidence to lead a class and follow lesson plans set by teaching staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and proactive approach
