Salary: £90 – £120 (depending on experience)

Teacheractive are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across secondary schools in the Bolton area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, support students’ learning, and make a positive impact in education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and follow the set work. No formal teaching qualification is required, but strong communication and classroom management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed.
Report back to the relevant teacher or department on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent); A-levels or degree desirable.
Previous experience working with young people is advantageous.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a calm classroom environment.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
