Are you a passionate Teacher of Girls PE looking to inspire students through engaging and active lessons? Do you have the skills to motivate and develop pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4? Are you ready to join a supportive PE department within a welcoming mainstream secondary school?

The school is looking to appoint a Teacher of Girls PE on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Teacher of Girls PE will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting participation, developing practical skills and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning throughout the department.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 for girls.
  • Promote participation and develop practical skills.
  • Maintain high teaching and learning standards within the department.
Qualifications
  • QTS with a PE specialism (ECTs welcome).
  • Experience teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
