Reports to: IT Manager
Purpose of the Role
Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and contributing to the smooth operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries via phone or Helpdesk system.
- Log, track, and resolve tickets using Jira Helpdesk software, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
- Escalate unresolved issues to second-line support or external vendors as required.
- Provide guidance and Support to staff and students on IT systems and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Technical Support
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware & software.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Support Office 365, Windows 11 builds, and other enterprise software deployments.
- System Administration
- Assist with Active Directory management, user account setup, and permissions.
- Assist with Microsoft Azure management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365.
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
