The college is looking to appoint a permanent English Lecturer to start in September. The successful English Lecturer will teach GCSE English and Functional Skills Level 2 to a diverse range of learners, working collaboratively with curriculum teams to deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress and contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum.
The successful English Lecturer will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills Level 2
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- The ability to motivate, inspire and support learners to achieve their goals
