The College is looking to appoint a permanent, full-time Agriculture Lecturer to join their curriculum team from September 2026. The successful Agriculture Lecturer will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across a range of Agriculture programmes, support learners throughout their studies, act as a course tutor, contribute to curriculum development and maintain high standards of teaching, safeguarding and health and safety to prepare students for careers within the agricultural industry.
The successful Agriculture Lecturer will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Relevant qualifications and substantial industry experience within Agriculture or a related sector
- Previous experience teaching or training learners within Further Education, apprenticeships or industry is desirable
- Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
- A positive, professional and collaborative approach to supporting learner achievement
In return for the above you can expect to receive:
- A permanent, full-time position with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
