With a proven track record in students going on to further education or full-time employment, the colleges of Leicester need your support to take the Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil engineering departments to new levels.
If you have an ambitious vision for delivering high-standard apprenticeship programmes, Construction courses and/or assessing the construction students, we are looking for an individual who has the passion and ability to impart their experience, skills, and knowledge to a caseload of engineering apprentices and students.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant Construction Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 other recognised qualifications)
- DBS (and on update service)
- Great industry experience and knowledge (Crucial)
- CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification
- Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.
- Ideally hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g., TAQA, A1 or V1.
- A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
