Teacher of Computer Science (KS5) needed in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. Start date: September 2025 - Ongoing. TeacherActive is partnering with a mainstream secondary school in Wolverhampton, part of a reputable academy trust, committed to providing excellent education. This full-time role (5 days per week) begins after the summer holidays, with interviews available immediately.
The successful candidate will help students achieve outstanding results in Computing, employing a positive and enthusiastic approach. The role mainly involves teaching KS3 and KS4 levels, with some understanding of KS5 curriculum coverage when needed. The school offers strong support from the Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department, fostering an encouraging environment.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- QTS with ICT/Computing specialism preferred
- Experience teaching ICT up to KS4
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A desire to positively impact pupils’ learning
