We are seeking experienced Qualified Lecturers to join our team immediately. Successful candidates based in Cardiff will have the opportunity to work with learners aged 14 and above in Further Education settings across the city. Our staff are dedicated to delivering outstanding education and opportunities for all students. Your Role
As a Qualified Lecturer, you will design, develop, and deliver learning materials across various modules or within a specific subject area. You will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of teaching programmes in line with the University’s strategy, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives that promote innovative teaching practises and may engage in research activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Lecturer who is passionate about inspiring learners and maintaining high standards of education. You will support and teach learners in accordance with the required curriculum standards.
Key Requirements
- QTS or PCET qualification essential for this role
- Level 3 or Coaching qualification related to Education (desirable)
- Experience in a learning support role, including skills development, pastoral care, or well-being (desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with experience managing challenging behaviours
- A clear commitment to learner support and well-being, with an inclusive, learner-centred approach
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups, including young people, parents, external organisations, and academic colleagues
