Get Your Personal Training Fundamentals Right

Brush up on your fitness knowledge, especially the fundamentals of personal training. Be ready to discuss training techniques, anatomy, and nutrition – they'll likely throw some scenario-based questions your way. Showing that you understand these key concepts can set you apart from other candidates.

Demonstrate Your Communication Skills

As a personal trainer, you'll need to connect with clients and explain exercises clearly. During your interview, showcase your communication skills by engaging with the interviewer as if they were a client. This might mean describing how you'd adjust a workout programme or motivate someone who's struggling.

Prepare for Practical Scenarios

You might face practical assessments where you need to demonstrate how you would handle real-life training situations. Prepare to showcase your ability to create a personalised workout plan based on a hypothetical client's goals and fitness level.
