As an Early Years Supply Teacher / Practitioner, you will have access to day‐to‐day cover shifts, short‐term assignments, long‐term placements, and permanent opportunities. We can support candidates looking for part‐time, full‐time, or flexible working arrangements to suit their lifestyle.
The role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Supply Teacher / Practitioner professionals who are confident supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and play‐based learning
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
- Observe, assess, and support children's progress where required
- Adapt quickly to different nursery settings and classroom environments
- Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence
- Support daily routines including meal times, personal care, and outdoor learning activities
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or relevant Early Years qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working within EYFS settings
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
- Ability to work flexibly across different nursery settings
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
