We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school provision in West London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Ideal candidate
- Have previous experience working with children with SEND (essential)
- Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting individual learning needs
- Have a good understanding of a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff
- Be reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
