TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist educational setting in Wiltshire that supports children and young people aged 4-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. The setting promotes an inclusive, values-led culture where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

The setting is looking to appoint an EYFS & Primary Teacher on a part‑time basis, working Wednesday to Friday across both EYFS and Primary phases. The successful EYFS & Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, monitoring progress against EHCP outcomes and working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, families and external professionals to ensure positive outcomes for all learners.

The successful EYFS & Primary Teacher will have:

  • QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching within EYFS and/or Primary settings
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Strong understanding of assessment, recording and reporting procedures
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A patient, flexible and child-centred approach
